Clothing and Shoe Requirements

In order for each student to fully be able to participate in class and the learning experience, she/he should wear clothing that permits movement and allows instructors to easily view muscles and body lines making for significantly easier corrections. Hair MUST be pulled back and tied away from the face securely.

Dancers are expected to arrive at class dressed in appropriate dance attire and with the proper shoes. Please have your child use the bathroom before class begins to minimize disruptions.

Costumes
The dance instructor will determine the selection of recital costumes and will be ordered by Nov. 1.

Those students taking Jazz will have an additional $15 costume fee due November 1.

Some costumes require parents to do a limited amount of sewing and piecing together.  Price of costumes includes tights or any possible hair pieces.  Costume measurements will be taken in September.

Costumes will be ordered by November 15.  If your child drops dance class after the costumes have been ordered, you will still be required to pay for the full costume fee and the costume is yours to keep when it arrives.  Remember that both the registration fee and the costume deposit are non-refundable.
